Assoc Prof Mike Mawson, Maclaurin Goodfellow Associate Professor of Theological and Religious Studies, University of Auckland.
Uniting Church Studies is always worth reading. The range with articles that specifically address the UCA through to wider Church and community matters, presents wonderful opportunities for reflection on the Church’s past, present, and future life and practice. This consistently provides helpful and challenging grist for one’s personal theological and ecclesial reflection, along with contributing significantly to the UCA’s breadth and depth for its calling of worship, witness, and service.
Rev Dr Mark Lawrence, General Secretary, Uniting Church Synod of Victoria & Tasmania
Uniting Church Studies invites readers to learn from the insights of scholars and local and regional ministry agents, in dialogue with our history, theology, biblical foundations, and socioeconomic and cultural contexts. This journal provides an opportunity for us to engage with current research and provocative ideas. It generates conversation about the challenges we face and the possibilities for renewal in the life and mission of our Church.

The journal's emphasis on the interplay between academia and practical ministry is especially commendable. The diverse perspectives offered within its pages inspire a rich tapestry of understanding, fostering an environment where intellectual exploration meets the lived realities of faith. In an era where the challenges of cultural diversity and ecumenical dialogue are more pressing than ever, "Uniting Church Studies" stands out as a beacon of insight and wisdom.
